LuxExperience Q3 2026 Sales Were Flat

LuxExperience — the parent company of Net-a-Porter, Mr Porter, Mytheresa and Yoox — reported that its Q3 2026 sales were flat at €618.4 million ($717.5 million). Mytheresa’s net sales increased 9.9% year-over-year (YoY) to €256 million ($297.1 million), while Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter’s sales dropped 5.1% YoY to €231.6 million ($268.8 million). Yoox also saw a 7.4% dip in sales to €130.7 million ($151.7 million). {LuxExperience}

U.S. Small Business Sales on TikTok Shop Grew 66% in 2025

U.S. small businesses on TikTok Shop (a.k.a. sellers with less than $15 million in annual revenue) increased sales by 66% in 2025 compared to the year before. The e-commerce platform now has more than 215,000 small businesses actively selling in the U.S., up 25% year-over-year. TikTok Shop’s new report also found that 67% of consumers go to the platform when they want to discover new products and brands, ahead of Amazon at 57%. {Modern Retail}

Gap Inc. Names New Banana Republic CEO

Gap Inc. appointed Donald Kohler as global brand president and CEO of Banana Republic, effective July 2026. Kohler previously served as CEO of PVH Americas, overseeing Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and the company’s regional retail, e-commerce, wholesale and licensing businesses. Kohler has also held senior leadership roles at Burberry, Ferragamo and Diesel. {Gap Inc.}

Inside WHP and G-III’s $925 Million Marc Jacobs Acquisition

Some details of WHP and G-III’s acquisition of Marc Jacobs were released in G-III’s filings to the Securities and Exchange Commission. Both G-III and WHP are putting up to $425 million into the joint venture that’s buying the brand.G-III tagged its entire investment at about $500 million, which puts the purchase price at around $925 million. The G-III licensing deal runs through 2041 and automatically renews for 10 successive five-year periods. {WWD/paywalled}

Mango Co-owner Arrested in Connection With Father’s 2024 Death

Mango co-owner Jonathan Andic was arrested in the investigation into the death of his father Isak Andic, who founded the Spanish retailer and fell from a cliff while the two were hiking. Isak died in December 2024 in what the family has called an accidental fall. Jonathan has not been charged with any crime, but was taken to court for questioning. {Bloomberg/paywalled}
